After trying a guide, record the audience, language, equipment, staff time, corrections and what did not work. Remove personal details before sharing the method with another library. A documented experience is more useful than a list of tools.

Every review should identify the library task, test date, tool version, language, price assumptions, data handling and observed limitations. Supplier claims, our tests and library reports must be distinguished. Our own products and paid relationships must be labelled; inclusion is not a compliance certificate.
